The Good Life
Whether you’ve been a Christian for a long time, or you’re stepping out in faith to follow Jesus just now, or even if you’re not sure what to make of the extraordinary man from Nazareth, John’s Gospel will bring you face to face with Jesus Christ in all his love, wisdom, and spiritual power. And he’ll reveal the way of life—the true and eternal life you were made for!
Jesus said, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly” (John 10:10). God made us with a deep longing to LIVE—and he provides the gift of life in all its fullness to those who put their trust in Jesus (John 3:16).
On Sunday I’ll begin a series called “Alive & Well: Sermons for Life from the Gospel of John.” And I invite you join me in this venture!
Join me each week by studying the chapter we’ll be looking at the next Sunday—take time to read ahead (read on your own, or with family/friends).
Join me by taking the Bible Memory Challenge—one verse per week from John’s Gospel, from now to June: details posted here (scroll down), and you can sign up on the clipboard in the lobby to say you’re on board.
And join me by praying that God will meet us in his mighty grace as we dive into Scripture!
