Men face enormous pressures.  Following Jesus in a world of temptation and distraction, providing financially for the family, raising children in a rugged cultural environment, attending to the emotional needs of loved ones--it's a challenge! The Men's Ministry at Goshen desires to stand shoulder to shoulder with men as they seek to fulfill their God-given calling in this world.  We aim first to introduce men to the Perfect Man in Jesus Christ, then to help each other grow in our understanding of who He is and how He wants each of us to impact our world for his glory. Join us as we support each other on the journey!

Bible Studies

A new series on Joshua and Judges begins on Thursday, September 20 and Saturday, September 22.

The books of Joshua and Judges take you on a journey of contrasts — great courage and knee-shaking cowardice, enduring love and heartless infidelity, God’s faithfulness and Israel’s unfaithfulness. This 12-lesson in-depth study will give you hope as you watch God accomplish His work through the lives of mighty warriors and deeply flawed people. Engage Bible Studies connect you with the enduring truth of God’s Word. Come out of the clutter and clanging of our culture and discover the peace of meeting the God of the Bible in the pages of His Word. Engage Bible Studies take you verse by verse into the richness of the Scriptures in ways that impact your heart and illumine your mind. You won’t find dry doctrinal debates. You will find simple tools that cultivate your understanding and engage your heart. Tools for transformation. You also will learn how to apply God’s Word in your everyday life. You are beginning an incredible journey!

Join us Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. or Saturdays at 7:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall.

Discipleship Groups

"Follow the pattern of the sound words that you have heard from me," Paul says to Timothy, "in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus."  (II Tm. 1:13)  At Goshen we're aiming to engage as many men as possible in a meaningful discipleship relationship with a brother older in faith, emulating the ancient pattern established by Paul and Timothy.  If you're interested in participating in a Discipleship Group, contact Chip Scott.

Fall/winter basketball and spring/summer softball teams are available for some good brotherly competition.  For basketball contact DJ Cronrath and for softball contact Paul Yeung.

Men’s Fellowship

We seek to come along side each other in brotherly support through church wide seasonal gatherings.  No matter if it's a breakfast or an evening BBQ, there's always great food, conversation and a challenge from a brother in Christ.

"Iron sharpens iron, and one brother sharpens another."  Proverbs 27: 17
