One of the very special features of our church life is Sunday School.  We have a long-standing practice of gathering each Lord's Day not just in our Worship Services, but also in age-specific classes for teaching, discussion, sharing, and encouragement.  Sunday School is a great way to feel "connected" here in our GBC family!

Summer Sunday School runs from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m.  Locations and age groups are as follows:

  • Adults:  During summertime we combine our four regular classes and meet together in Fellowship Hall (see details here).
  • Youth:  Rising 6th graders join the middle school class in Room 002, and rising 9th graders join the high school class in the Youth Room.
  • Children:  Those under age 2 are cared for in the Nursery; children ages 2-4 meet in Room 108/110, rising K-5th graders meet in the FLC.

Let me wholeheartedly encourage you:  If Goshen is your church, come join us on Sundays for BOTH Sunday School and Worship!  For your own spiritual benefit and to bless others as well, commit to weekly participation in Sunday School.  Come and get to know others in our church.  Bring the family--build this into your regular Sunday plans.  Teach your kids that this is a key part of our church family life.  Don't miss out on the thoughtful, Bible based teaching that is offered, and on the opportunity to grow in your faith and build community with others who are following Jesus!

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path" (Psalm 119:105).
