"Doxology for Life"
Messages on the Practical Vocation of Praise
Winter 2019
There’s nothing more practical than getting your head and heart centered on GOD. All those how-to talks and life-hack lists will fall flat if you’re not, first and foremost, practicing “doxology.”
Doxa is the Greek word for glory. And doxology is a prayer of praise to the glory of our Awesome God. Whether you sing it or say it, rest on it or walk in it, doxology is the very practical task of aligning your life with what matters most—and with the One who reigns over all things.
Come join us for seven soul-forming messages based on the major doxology passages in the New Testament!
- Jan. 20, “Strengthened by the Gospel” (Romans 16:25-27)
- Jan. 27, “Glory in the Church” (Ephesians 3:20-21)
- Feb. 3, “Honoring the Immortal King” (1 Timothy 1:17; 6:15-16)
- Feb. 10, “Equipped to Do God’s Will” (Hebrews 13:20-21)
- Feb. 17, “Kept from Falling” (Jude 1:24-25)
