OUTDOOR WORSHIP & PICNIC LUNCH
Sunday, September 13
Friends, let’s get together in God’s great outdoors and sing his praises! Here’s the plan:
- Outdoor Worship Service on the slope and in the field behind our church buildings, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Please bring lawn chairs and blankets, take a seat in the shade, and join your brothers and sisters giving glory to our Christ the King! And then linger afterwards for a…
- Picnic Lunch (please bring your own food—water bottles will be provided). If you’ve been reticent to attend indoor gatherings, please consider joining us for a special time together as a church family out in God’s beautiful creation!
Key info to note:
- Covid-19 precautions: Face coverings are optional outdoors as long as we practice social distancing (6 ft.) from non-household members (per PA order).
- Kids Time Celebration: grades K-4 dismissed for KTC during the sermon—plus, Pre-K ages (3-5) are invited to join KTC on this date. Children will be brought back to the gathering area at the end of the service.
- Plan B if bad weather: Worship service moves into the Family Life Center at 10:30 a.m., and picnic would be cancelled. If we have to go to Plan B, we’ll put out notice (by email, Facebook, and phone announcement) by Saturday night.
