Our 2020 Fall Focus on Missions will take place on Sundays, October 18 and 25.  This year's theme is:  "God is not quarantined."  Even in today's pandemic moment, the Lord is at work through his church to accomplish his Great Commission!

We look forward to having two special guest speakers to challenge and encourage us in our response to God's Great Commission:

  • Jack Nelson, President of Worldlink, will be preaching, and he will also speak in a combined adult Sunday School session, on October 18.  Sermon:  "Unstoppable God" (Matthew 14:1-21).  Sunday School:  "Reasons: Recapturing the “WHY” of Reaching the Unreached."
  • James Russell, Programming Director of UrbanPromise in Wilmington, DE, will be preaching on October 25:  "Not conforming to the digital age, but being transformed by renewing your mind" (Romans 12 & 2 Timothy).

For our Special Missions Offering this year, we want to help make missionaries mobile!  We're inviting people to make over-and-above contributions during the coming month (through Nov. 22) so we can purchase three motorbikes ($1,200 each) to help Worldlink missionaries in South Asia travel to the people and churches they serve.  To contribute, make checks payable to Goshen Baptist Church and designate them for "motorbikes."

And make sure to dive into our 31 Days of Prayer for the month of October, focusing on our GBC missionaries serving all around the world.
