MEN & LIFE

Men face enormous pressures.  Following Jesus in a world of distraction and temptation, providing financially for the family, raising children in a rugged cultural environment, attending to the emotional needs of loved ones--it's a challenge! The Men's Ministry at Goshen desires to stand shoulder to shoulder with men as they seek to fulfill their God-given calling in this world.  We aim first to introduce men to the Perfect Man in Jesus Christ, then to help each other grow in our understanding of who He is and how He wants each of us to impact our world for his glory. Join us as we support each other on the journey!

Contact Ed Duguid or Dennis Balickie for information about Goshen Men's Ministries.

BIBLE STUDIES

The Goshen Men’s Group are in a Bible Study of the book of Daniel.  We will be using the Wiersbe Bible Study Series Daniel – Determining to Go God’s Direction.  The group meets on Thursdays at 7:00pm on ZOOM and in the church (the specific room location will be sent out on the weekly email).  Contact Dennis Balickie with questions or for the Zoom link.

DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS

"Follow the pattern of the sound words that you have heard from me," Paul says to Timothy, "in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus."  (2 Tm. 1:13)  At Goshen we're aiming to engage as many men as possible in a meaningful discipleship relationship with a brother older in faith, emulating the ancient pattern established by Paul and Timothy.  If you're interested in participating in a Discipleship Group, contact Chip Scott.

SPORTS

Fall/winter basketball and spring/summer softball teams are available for some good brotherly competition.  For basketball contact Kyle Ceffaratti and for softball contact Tom Buddenhagen.

MEN'S FELLOWSHIP

We seek to come along side each other in brotherly support through church-wide seasonal gatherings.  No matter if it's a breakfast or an evening BBQ, there's always great food, conversation and a challenge from a brother in Christ.

"Iron sharpens iron, and one brother sharpens another."  Proverbs 27: 17
