On Sunday, September 12, we’re planning to transition out of the Family Life Center and return to our Sanctuary upstairs!  We'll have TWO worship services that day--at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. (note:  the following week, Sept. 19, we’ll re-launch Sunday School for all ages, and our ongoing schedule will then be:  8:30 a.m. worship, 10:00 Sunday School, 11:00 a.m. worship).

A highlight of our September 12 worship services will be the Celebration of Baptism.  And so, we’re spreading the word to see who is being prompted by the Lord to take this step.  Adults, teens, and older children:  if you’re a follower of Jesus and you have not been baptized as a believer to express your faith in the Lord, here’s a great opportunity!

If you’re ready to move forward toward baptism or if you just have questions, plan to attend a Baptism Class on Sunday, Aug. 22, at 9:30 a.m. (there will be two tracks—one for children and their parents meeting in the Sanctuary, and one for teens and adults meeting in Room 014 downstairs), OR on Sunday, Aug. 29 (just one track:  for teens-adults, same time and location).  Please sign up to indicate your plan to attend a Baptism Class by clicking HERE.

Jesus commands his church to practice baptism (Matthew 28:19-20), and it is a great privilege to make this public declaration of faith.  In baptism, we’re expressing our thanks and devotion to Christ for all he accomplished for us in his death and resurrection (Romans 6:3-4), and we’re saying, “I belong to Jesus.”

If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to talk to any of our ministry staff.
