Philosophy of Worship 

WORSHIP ARTS TEAM 

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. Colossians 3:16 

I.                    WORSHIP      “Let the Word of Christ dwell in you”

A.     Content Driven Worship: A Christ-centered/God-exalting vision

B.     Responsive Worship: Prayer, Confession, Silence, Celebration, Thanksgiving          

C.     Multi-generational Congregational Worship: Participatory, non-entertainment        

            driven, experiential, authentic, inter-generational

II.                 ARTS              “as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs”

A.     Rich, diverse, creative and indigenous expressions of worship

B.     All musical expressions relevant to our multi-generational church and community

C.     Various, indigenous artistic expressions to engage scripture and express worship

III.               TEAM             “teach and admonish one another with all wisdom”

A.     We work together to teach and admonish in order to let the Word of Christ dwell

B.     We commit to serve each other, the church and community

C.     We strive for interconnectivity, communication and mutual submission

D.     We seek to learn from others, teach others and raise up/be raised up as leaders
