Jesus sends his witnesses into all the world—here, there, and everywhere.  “Let all the peoples praise you!” (Psalm 67:3).  How can you be involved?  Join us on three special Sundays to explore how you can be involved in God’s global mission:

Sunday, October 28:  HERE

  • Guest Preacher, Rev. Vivek Jones, speaking on, “Prayerfully follow Jesus’ Spirit to see God's kingdom break into your daily reality” (Acts 16:6-40).  Vivek is a pastor from India currently doing a Ph.D. in church history and spirituality at Villanova University.
  • Vivek will also speak in the Family Foundations Class at 10:00 a.m. in the FLC, and you’re welcome to come.  Other adult classes will also be in session October 28.

Sunday, November 4:  THERE

  • Guest Preacher, Rev. Jack Nelson, President, WorldLink, a ministry that mobilizes indigenous Christian leaders from around the world to reach unreached peoples.  Jack will preach on, “What in the world is God doing?”
  • Combined Adult Class:  Jack will be speaking in Fellowship Hall at 10:00 a.m. to all of our adult classes on “The Changing Face of Missions.”
  • Combined Children’s Class:  Jenna (Smyth) McGovern from WorldLink speaking at 10:00 a.m. in the FLC
  • Missions Lunch with Jack & Nancy Nelson:  You’re invited to come and learn more about WorldLink, including time for Q&A—sign up in the lobby.

Sunday, November 11:  EVERYWHERE

  • Pastor Peter Nelson speaking on “No Other Name” (Acts 4:12).  God’s Word is true for all people in all places:  salvation is in Christ alone.  Does saving grace fill you with gratitude?  And does God’s gospel guide your steps?

2018 Special Missions Offering:

  • Consider an over-and-above gift to provide BIKES for missionaries!  WorldLink partners with 415 indigenous Christian workers around the world, and the reach of the gospel can be greatly extended if they have bicycles!  We can encourage dozens of African and Asian missionaries by meeting this need.  To give, make your check payable to Goshen Baptist Church and designate it for “Missions Offering” by November 25.

Fall Missions Projects:

  • Operation Christmas Child: Shoebox gift packages are due back by Sunday, November 11.
  • Christmas Cards: As of Oct. 28, pick up cards in the lobby and send encouragement to our missionaries.
  • Pray for Missionaries: As of Oct. 28, pick up info from all our Goshen missionaries in the lobby, and call out to the Lord on their behalf.
